This project started out with a group of three pre-selected bidding teams. The winner was selected based on a design-build preliminary design and estimated budget. Our teams’ approach was to have an architect prepare a conceptual design, and to then adapt that design to a practical pre-engineered building system.
For Phase I, the architect came up with a floor plan and roof line concept.
Phase II came from a sit down session of the architect, contractor and Rob to adapt the original concept into a working pre-engineered metal building design.
Phase III was the architects conversion of the pre-engineered design into a presentation quality model for the bid.
Phase IV was the award of contract to our team, and further adaptation of the design to meet the end users’ needs and budget.
Phase V was the construction of the project.
